so i recently got a ninja reg that makes my mag rt super easy, ive used a vlocity jr forever and while at the park this weekend i decided to see how fast i could shoot it, i put it over the crono and started rt-ing my gun, i hit 13bps and then seen that a ball broke just above the breech, so the question is... do i need to tune my level 10 for brittle paint, or might it just have been my vlocity couldnt keep up with the rof? thanks :headbang:

I used a evo and had to switch to a Pinokio once I got the SHP, then I was out shooting that with my Emag so I had to go to a Rotor. No chops since the rotor. Although I can out shoot the rotor with my Mech mag and SHP when I really try (29 bps), so I went to a Qloader for that.

For me I really like the rotor! I think it's the best hopper you can have!

Rotor here too, but I think that these days you might be able to squeak out as good or close to for less money if you're buying new, used you can still score some good deals.

Rotor too ! with all my markers, Mags with SHP, Emag, mini...

The level 10 should not chop, regardless of the loader. That's actually the only use for it with a powered loader. Either the loader doesn't keep up or you get to the end of the ball stack that the loader can push on.

If you're going to shoot that paint often and you are sure of your detents, you should consider a stronger bolt spring.

I've been looking for a rotor for a bit now but I keep buying new parts for my mag build...I will probably get a new one since used don't go for much less than a new one...I will also try a stronger bolt spring too... thanks :headbang:

...on the marker. I have different hoppers for different markers.

Evil Minion 06: Reloader B
PM5: Halo
Minimag: 12V Revy on an Intellifed Warpfeed
Auromag Classic: intellifed 12V Revy

I also have a gravity hopper I used to use with my Spyder and Model 98. I have a 45-round Brass Eagle hopper I use with my pumps. I have an Evo II that I used with my Prodigy. And I have an Apache that I bought to use with my 2k Autococker but I never got the damn cocker to work so I primarily just use the Apache to continually test the Cocker (that never ends up working).

By far the best is the 12V to Warp. The only drawback is the weight.

I'd say the Halo is second, but it has the tendency to go "on the fritz" at horrible times during gameplay. Nothing like exposing yourself and realizing your hopper turned itself off.

I actually like the Intellifed 12V Revy next best. It doesn't eat batteries, is easy to maintain, and I've never outshot it with the Intellifed Mag.

The Reloader B I'm still getting used to. The sound activation sometimes messes me up...especially when you're just testing it out. But the feed rate is excellent. It doesn't like my rebels though...they keep getting stuck in it.

I still use my old revy, it was originally a 9v revy converted to a 12v xboard'd revy. Still seems to work well enough for my slow fingers.

I have a halo as well. Ive used it once, broke paint in it & am still having issues with trying to reassemble the thing.

Everyone seems to rave about the Rotor, but I'm too darn cheap to invest in one. Currently, I use a Halo as my main loader. It's not evern the V35 and keeps up with me fine. I do have a V35 one, but it seems to eat batteries like crazy, so it sits in my gear bag as a backup. I also have a Revy Tripod in case all heck breaks loose and I can't get either of the others to work.

I use two and have a backup
I use my revi with my slower guns, like classic mags, cockers, and pumps (with pumps i usually use a pocket hopper)
I use my pinokio with my emags and xvalved mags. I love this hopper

My backup is an egg III, its quick and was inexpensive...

After shooting every hopper out there I can say I have had issues with every hopper I have owned, except one. My rotors. I won't use anything else with an electro.

I use a Halo, a Revvy, and a APP 50 rounder. They all keep up in there chosen role.

ive got a halo, but i think i need to upgrade it, seems way slower than my vlocity jr and i dont really dig the 6 AA batteries it uses to operate, can it be converted to 2 9volts?, ive never really have had a problem with batterylife on my vlocity jr's either. also, what kind of batteries and how many do rotors use? i seen some on ansgear for 150-160 new, i may just have to go with this regardless

I have been using a V'Locity loader for years, with no problems. I also use Evil and Hellfire paint with no problems. I do have the tension moved up to, two for the brittle paint, and that seems to let the loader run a little faster.

And don't worry so much about one break, it could simply be an out of round paintball or defective seam. If you are having a consistent problem, then look for solutions. An occasional break is not an indication of a problem.

Hope this helps.

Rotor uses 3 AA batteries and for me they do a full season! So more than 60 000 balls! 150$ is really cheap! They really are the best!

I can't bring myself to ever use a pinokio....those things are just so damn ugly!!

I've heard rotors are the best....and I believe it...I just don't think they are that much "better" than a Halo or Reloader or any other electro hopper.

Ricochet Apache FTW!!! I had one of the first R2K's back when they were like the only other option for hopper. I buy boxes of ricco parts when I find them so I have made 6 hoppers and then some for less then $30. The Apache feeds well enough for me and it light, I got a couple of neoprene covers for them and it cuts down on the shells shattering....yes I am really cheap.

i really like to stick with my revvy, dont really need to shoot faster than it feeds but i also have a reloader b that i use if im playing speedball and feel the need to shoot that fast.

Rotors are worth every penny. Spend the money. Best hopper ever by leaps and bounds. I don't care about shooting fast at all and I use this hopper on my pump because I know it will always work.

No he means what hopper do you use for paintball. Not the hopper for beer after the game.

Vlocity JR and a Torque 440 loudmouth. Havent tried the Torque yet, but I have yet to outshoot it with any of my electros, I want to see how fast these really feed. :shooting:
