im strippind down a xmag for a friend ready fo anno are their any steel bits hidden on these?

Clip inside the body is the only thing.

As for the lowers if those are getting done. The 2 prongs for the battery need to be pulled.

BigEvil got it all figured out after a while. I think you'll find most of those threads on AO, but you might poke around BigEvilOnline as well. It's not impossible, but I thought there was something there to watch out for.
