Are an Emag and an RT on/off the same? I'm talking about the stock emag on/off, not a ULT.

The only difference is the length of the pin. The E-mag pin is .712, an x-valve pin is .750 and an RT Pro is .760.

RT Pro pin: 0.765"
RT/Retro/X valve pin: 0.750"
1st Gen Emag (urethane oring): 0.725"
2nd Gen Emag (quad oring): 0.712"

My mistake. This is correct. :hail:

Why is the RT Pro pin and the ReTro pin different lengths? I was under the impression that the valves were identical internally.

"ReTro" = no ULT

"RT Pro" = ULT

Neither on of my RT Pro's will accept a ULT. They are early numbers and are the same as an Emag valve with just the one oring on the on/off bottom.

The RT Pro guns were the first retro valved mags that had the same valve diameter as the classic valve and were not the RT classic design with the smaller diameter valve and banjo bolt. The RT pro and Emag valves both had the recessed on-off area. Later generation retro valves and emag valves (and all X-valves) had the milled on-off area that accepted the two orings on top of the on-off assembly.
