Does anyone know where I can get one of these per chance?

AO and Custom Cockers user Saint Noir might be convinced to part with his for the right price and/or Bob Long Signature Series Autococker.

Saw one on MCB a week or so ago. Guy was asking $200 or so IIRC. Didnt the guy making them stop?

Yeah, I was speaking to mike at tunaball and I think he said he only has two left in his possession, and he was going to use them in his own projects

Right now, the only good place to get them is used. It just wasn't financially worth it for him to continue making the valves.

Considering I was there with the initial development and subsequent revisions as well as him being my son's godfather, yeah. You could say that. :)

I still pay for parts, so don't think you're getting out "scott free." ;)

Can someone explain what makes these valves so special?

i'm not an expert on it. but it eliminates the need for a hammer in an autococker. so it's lighter and you don't get the kick from it. and since the hammer is gone you can midget that bad boy.

It's a balanced valve that eliminates the need for the sear tripper solenoid as well as the hammer/valve assembly in an Autococker.

Since you don't have the reciprocating mass, you have less recoil or movement of the marker leading to a steadier shot.

As for the other benefits, you can hit up good ol' Google and go from there.

It's an electronically controlled firing valve, modular for sniper/autococker. Eliminates the whole hammer/spring thing which on a cocker was a big deal since that affected your ram pressure. Allows complete divorcement of the firing and loading cycles, which has also made it useful for a variety of custom uses.

And it makes the best pump valve EVAR
