I need advice on calming an antsy player down?

There is a guy that I play with we can call him Mister X. He runs out hard and does not fear the pain associated with getting hit with a paintball.

The thing is he cannot slow down. He cannot stay in a spot for long. He cannot let the gun play the game for him.

What can I do to help him?

I want to join a three-man team with him but he can't stay still. We play wood fields now and he is all over the place.

Haha... sounds like me when I started. I think with time he will learn patience... which is very important. But that fearless quality is important too... just gotta learn when to take advantage of that and turn it into something productive - and not play stupid. There's a fine line between playing stupid, and being risky with hopes of making a big play.
