Aluminum- it's not magnetic.

The ONLY stainless steel that IS magnetic is 400 series. Most commonly used S/S is non ferris or non magnetic.
I still say it is stainless.
It's SS guys. "Someone" is in the process of changing that though. :D

A lot of steel is magnetic, and not all steel is stainless steel, so yer teacher may still be right:)

Titanium has properties that make it harder to work with than steel and costs more, so the price is pretty justified. That and custom always costs moer:)
