autococker asa

so i've got a ans gx4 autococker and i was wondering if there were any angled asa's available, or if anyone knows if other style asa's will fit it, also does anyone have info on how to do a clamping feedneck mod, or if you could even do it to these guns...thanks :headbang:

For the most part any 15* asa for a cocker should work for you with the exception of the ones for the karni and 05+ black magic, they're widely available around the internet and likely your local proshop's parts bin. For a feed neck mod thats a bit rough as the feed neck is pressed in, you need to remove it (not easy) then tap it for a new one. There are several people around who preform this service and I recommend saving your own frustration by having it done for you. Not sure how many hang out here on AO but you can find them on custom and the nation quite easily.

The Gen-x cockers had ASA's that were milled into the body. You can't replace them.

As for feednecks, you can either pop that one out and press a new one in (not recommended), or send it to BigEvil to do it (recommended).

My Gen-x asa absolutely comes off the body, so I will edit my post to say, I believe it depends on the year you own. Maybe someone can clairify this for me, I do know my asa on my genx is chrome while my body is grey. It sticks out because I think it looks gay as (censored) especially where the matching chrome frame is loosing some of its chromage. I find it hard to belive that someone spent the time to mill drill and tap my body, but you never know.

yea it looks stock, ive got the gx4 body so hopefully i can get an angled asa... to tell you the truth, its been on my mind for a while now but an not totally great with autocockers and didnt want to pull everything off and mess my timing up, still a cocker noobie :D ...but i love the way they work...never take place of my sexy mags though...

Yes you can get an angled ASA for them.. I THINK they will fit. I have a few "custom" parts for that purpose. Also you can send it in to Komodo to get the feedneck mod done to it. You'll need an ego feedneck to send with it.
