Sorry if this sounds dumb but is this possible to do?

Can the remote line be threaded directly into the out port?

yes i would use a steel fitting and the stainless braided remote if so. but yes it can be.

I used mine like that for a while. I eventually put a slide check on it, which was nice.

Talk to the guys at Ninja. I was running my SHP tank through one of their remote lines during Living Legends V. They said it wouldn't have a problem with it. I forget what they said the line is rated for, but it was well over what even we run through markers.

Most remote lines have the pressure rating printed on them, and most are 3000 psi or more. They are rated this way in case a reg fails, and dumps the tank pressure into the line.

The remote fitting is 1/8 NPT threaded, the same as the output port on your Flatline reg, so this shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure your Flatline has an on/off or you use some type of slide check system on the remote.
