Barrel loosening.

I have a J&J barrel kit that has been stripped brushed and clear anoed. The problem is the backs seem to come loose at times. Not sure if this is due to loss of material through stripping or if this is just indicative of the kit. I thought about trying a very thin o-ring. Any other ideas?

For the Cocker threaded J&J's at least the o-ring is a 2.015 buna n with a cross section of 0.70.

I have the same problem with my Kaner kit. I put the orings on the barrels no more problems.
