Level ten bolt

Had to change carrier oring and oiled. Airs up and shoots fine for a couple of shoots. every now and then the bolt will not reset after shooting.,

If I hit the back of the valve with my hand it vents air then resets and I can shoot again.

Tried the next carrier larger and leak down the barrel. Went back to smaller carrier and holds air. shoots after a couple os shoots, then it wont till smack the back again.

Wondering if that is the norm for a worn spring? Or do i have a different problem?

Thx

It's been awhile but sounds like the bolt is sticking. Try the next smallest carrier and fire a few shots to see if it won't seal.

Seals and holds air the bolt does not reset after firing.

do you have your rail bushing installed?

A worn spring will do this too.

No rail bushing. Guessing it is my spring, being the second summer with it. Thanks for the help

When you checked your carrier size, did you do it without the shims installed? The shims could cause false leaking which would lead you to install a carrier that was too tight.

Get a rail bushing installed and follow what AThomas said. Too many shims will give you a false positive.

I missed the missing rail bushing info. You definitely need that for it to work properly.
