What barrel would be good with an E-mag. I want an armson stealth but i'm afraid that i would break too much paint. I was also thinking about a J&J ceramic but people i've asked say its only ok. Help me out fellas

I am also interested in AO members' thoughts on this topic.

I'm sure most will respond with "buy a freak". Can you also suggest other barrels. I don't want to spend $150-250.

I was thinking 10" Dye SS, but have heard it is too heavy (when added to a EMag and Warp).

Hope you don't mind me adding to your topic, markalex13.

Call me crazy, but I always had really good results with SP Teardrop barrels shooting RPS Advantage.

SP Teardrop. I typically shoot PMI advantage (in my tippmann). Heard good things about it. Thanks for the feedback.

I use a 12 inch Boomstick, and it works great! I was shooting a street-sign-sized tagret from 100 feet away. Out of about 20 shots, 13 hit the sign, the other missed by only an inch or two. Any other target closer to me was hit, more or less, in almost the same spot each time. There is a noticeable difference between the stock, and the boomstick.

P.S. I was shooting paint i got at the field, and i think it was RPS (with both barrles), but i'm not exactly sure.

Hey! The darned stock barrel is not at all bad. And easy to clean too. Otherwise I do put a Freak on mine but if I have the right paint I do not hesitate to use the stock barrel. Besides mine is matching fade...so if you can't be good you sure can look good! :D

Don't underestimate the stock barrel if you got good quality medium paint is all I gotta say.

I 2nd that, cphillip... I haven't shot an emag, but I've used an emag stock barrel on my minimag with fabulous results! They clean like a dream and are very accurate with good paint. They're a bit loud, and they don't have the status of costing you $200 and giving you lots of pretty inserts to mess around with... but otherwise, they're great!

The Freak is the best paint match system, but the stock barrel should not be over looked! I've had great results with the stock barrel when I use the best paint match! :D

I love my Dye 10" SS. I don't find it too heavy. And if you call a few more ounces to your setup too heavy then you got a problem, no offense intended.

Which gun are you using? E-Mag w/ warp?

12" J&J Ceramic is excellent, I use it as my main barrel on my RT (Thanks Magman007) and as a backup on my Defiant. 1st Gen All Americans are excellent as well, I'm not sold on the new ones, as are Stainless J&J's.

I use Lapco.... 100 bucks for the bigshot and auto spirit together. Along with the stock barrel I don't have much trouble matching paint.

I have a boomstick, I prefer the stock emag barrel over that.
