Do any of you guys use macroline with your SHP tanks. I'm using steel braid now but would prefer to use macro if possible.

If anybody is using macroline where did you get it. I know some have thicker walls than others.

I've used it with no issues. It was the thicker walled stuff though.

I use it with no problems as well. I got mine from MacrolineGuy.com (I believe HobbyHorse is his username here on AO). It's good stuff, thicker walled, and more flexible.

Thanks, I'll hit him up for some.

I got some from ANS that blew with a regular 800psi tank, but it was very thin walled.

As I learned at tunaball on friday. Make sure you have the good stuff. I grabbed Evans tank to try one of my guns. I knew it was 1100 output. I didnt think much of it. Figured a RT would love it. Never got to check. It blew the hose instantly.

Make sure youve got good hose not the stuff thats normally used.

This is what I use with my SHP reg, I have not had any issues. I will say that it is very rigid though.

Black macroline specs:

Black Nylon-12
.150" ID
.250" OD
.050" wall
1000 psi working pressure (3000 psi burst)
0.5" bend radius

I got it from http://www.airsoldier.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=AOS

I use this. The only problem is that it sometimes needs the high pressure to seal in the fitting, like it is expanding to fit. On cold days with a lower pressure tank, it can take a while to stop leaking. I have pulled out my SHP to seat my macro and then switched back to an 800 psi bottle to play nice. I still have one RT setup on steel braid though, just for sheer reliability.
