Finishing my pistol project, as some of you may have seen in the BST forum, I'm going to finally make this pistol run off of 12g's. all I want to be sure of is this, I am ordering parts and I need a small fitting for the ASA to hook straight up to the valve, no macro, one fitting to go into both the ASA and the air port in a classic air valve. All I am doing to make this run off of 12g's is getting a dump chamber or something like that, anything that accepts 12g's and screw it into an ASA that will be right next to the valve.

I am not sure about the length though and want to make sure I get this right, does this seem good?

Also I am worried about how sturdy this will be, I don't want it wobbling around while I'm running and such. That's all I really need. Just need those 2 questions answered and I will be on my way.

That's it? Wow I will go and get one of those now, and what about the stability issue? Will it be stable and not move around much?

there are also those fittings just like that but with a hex in the middle to make everything alot easier?

You can also run a back bottle asa on the rear of the rail and use a very short peice of macro. Might make it less bulky.

You can usually find the same thing as above, or real close to it, and nearly any hardware store in the plumbing isle. Its just 1/8npt.

I experimented with this on a goofing around project. The CO2c worked ok but I had issues takeing the valve out for maintenance. I've seen you project and it looks good.

I thought about I but I don't think I would want it any lengthier, good idea but just not my preference. And it will help with weight distribution as I have all that extra bulky metal on one side and nothing else on other side. It's a heavy pistol, but it's nice, compact, and that nice touch of "special".

Thanks, and I didn't think about that but I would expect that would be a PITA. But I don't see it needing to be fixed much and I feel it wold be easy to take the ASA off to make it just the valve. I'm looking forward to finishing this build, was a nice way to kill time but not to difficult and demanding.

Thanks for all the help guys :D
