AO Army jersey final draft

this is NOT the final but rather the final draft before animal gets ahold of it an does their thing.

colors will be able to be tweaked and there will be a guide with circles and arrows after everything is said and done.

ALOT in fact. I'm going to be telling them what colors to make changeable but even after that you can pay a little extra and put a dancing banana on the front instead of the magpie if you want

I voted #1 cause I like the big bird and Magpies slogan on the front. However i also like the AO army design and will see if they could showcase it above the name on the back ( one big bird is enough I think)

The more that I look at these, the more I'm inclined to feel the same way.

I think that at the top-rear there should either be an AO Army logo, an AGD logo, or maybe another Automags.org..?

I like option 2.

The Magpie logo is sweet and I like it but if this is supposed to be an AO Army jersey then I feel that the AO Army logo should be front and center. I like having the magpie logo smaller on the front near the collar and top center on the back.

Well we have 3 AO.orgs so far ( both sleeves and front bottom center) I know the U.S. Flag Automag logo I posted (in the Magpie team thread) didn't go over to well but I do love the old AUTOMAG logos in any form... Especially the chrome 68Automag stickers.

I like the design, although I would vote to get rid of the two smaller logos on the top right/left of the chest. Imo you should have one of the magpie/AOarmy logos on the front and the other on the top of the back above your name. I dont think we need the agd logo on the chest or back since its on both shoulders. Or you could take the agd logo off of the shoulders and put a larger one in place of the numbers. I think that would eliminate some of the clutter feeling and not make us look like a overzealous parent with 15 bumper stickers.

not really liking the red, plus to much color and logos just make it busy. less would be simply and make it look better in my opinion.

can the honey cone be done in the AO orange and the black be the dark grey. keep the bird, loose the (we are everywhere) and put magpies above the bird. the sides would look good in plain grey or a grey and orange splat. put the AO army on one sleeve and lions on the other.

What changes did you decide on?

the magpie will be removed from the front and put on the top of the back with the magpie and everywhere lettering. The splash on the jersey up there is too busy" so it more closely emulate the eclipse splash. the AGD logo on the breast will remain there but will be shrunk about 25% to make it look less cluttered. The font will be changed cause at work I have had more then 5 people come up to me and ask "what's the RD Army?" I like the splash on the lettering in the back but it blended a little too well for me so I've having them tint it around 10-15%.

I've put alot of thought into that and they will be providing me with a proof FOR APPROVAL.

that proof will be put into a thread to vote "yes" or "no" on... senate rules apply... so I'll be shutting down the website until this can be decided... JK, I'm hoping for a 2/3 vote. if 51% say yes then I will still consider this a no.

for the purpose of the proof I have provided them with a color pallet of the red splash pattern. I hope people who dont like red can look past it until they can choose their own colors.

a member can take the proof and change the colors himself to show difference. they wont do it until I give them a "yes, use this design" (they are paid hourly, and I didnt give them 2000$ after all)

When I think of Eclipse splash I think of Gold lines. It seems to be like: Red/Gold/Black or. Blue/Gold/Black. Or Green/Gold/Black etc.

Star on the sleeve was something C_losjoker had asked for in his description. I just wanted to do another mock up for fun because orange sounded cool.

Regarding font for the "AO Army", would it be cheesy to do stencil font? And while I'm not a huge fan of brightly colored jerseys, I have to admit that the orange is pretty nice looking! Reminds me of Lava ano.

I didn't do those and we have a set design we are going off of now. I'll edit the colors of that one but major changes will end up costing me, then u, money
