I have this great Taso nickle plated alum barrel, that think barks like a dog when you fire. I love it. My 8" no porting J&J Hardchrome is damn loud too. Love that one also.

u think those barrels are loud hexis... my friend cut apart a mini mag stock and only 2 inches stick out of the gun and that thing is the loudest barrel i have ever heard.... its 2 inches and fires damn nice for a 2 inch barrel:D

i'm not talking about communication i'm talking about stuff like "come on out im waiting for you" then a 5 shot burst and then if they got you penned you you come out yell "boo" fireoff3shotsandcomebackin or yelling things like "eat mag" at the top of your lungs:D

well its really kinda the same, i mean just making noise lets other players know where you are and possibly know where everyone else is,

but i know alot of little kids that make noise, i dont do it often, maybe once in a while

against people i know maybe, but its kinda rude to just taunt people u dont know

Best charge I was ever part of, at Painball Sam's Big Game a couple yeras ago wo got about 20 to 30 guys to charge yelling "Timmmmaaah!" Gotta love South Park.

i gave up on being quiet. my mag is so loud it scares people into bunkers even if i'm not shooting in their direction. and my tppmann with the stock barrel, well you get the idea. however about the worst i have ever heard was one of the refs at my field cut down the stock tippmann berrel to a bit behind the ring of ports it has and then put that on a reactive M98.

The loudest marker I've heard is my very own, an AT10 with a 6" barrel. I put that sucker on full auto and people on my own team jump when I shoot it...
As for yelling, I have been known to draw fire from time to time - when I play on the same field so often I know exactly how far somebody on the other side of the field can shoot, I'll stand just out of range waving and yelling, then count and tell them how many bounces they just got :)

if you play woods ball you should not make noise but lie in wait if there coming other wise you should crawl and sneek up on them. but in speedball well thats another story...:D

I enjoy making obscure Navy Seals hand signals that no one can interperet. Makes me feel militant. Makes my teammates think I'm an idjit tho. I've since stopped and now just yell. Alot.

No, they call me iceman, i dont say a word. Not cause i'm trying to sneak up on people, but because i generally i don't talk much. except in a tournament, then you cant shut me up. I came home from my last tournament with my voice pretty much gone and a really sore throat(played back:D)

do i make noises??? me and my friends sound liek a mobile frat party on the paintball field!! we hoot & holler and yelp & just all out scream stuff that dont make sense! our trademark is when a group of my friends storms a bunch of people we all do the xena call while running. you have to scream in paintball, it really puts you in the mood :):):)

I usually don't yell at the oppoents or anything like that. I just wave at them to taunt them a bit. :) Of course, if they ended up shooting me in the hand, I'd look like a real goof, but that hasn't happened yet. :D

I taunt the other team if i know the people playing. If not i only yell at my own team for info. Its just rood to yell at people you dont know and taunt them. You may make them not want to play again.

Oh sorry I didn't answer the question though...I yell only when necessary. I do not yell obscenitys on the field because that just makes you sound too well childish to me. If I yell anything it is like "whoa that was close" or "check that guys pack, mask, etc." I found keeping your mouth shut prevents you from pulling your foot out of it after a bad game.
