He is expensive.. but its well worth it. He un-fubared my Xmag and it is absolutely incredible.

I've got a quote from him for a fix as well. I agree with BE, it's more expensive, but not unreasonable for the quality of work that he does. One of these days I'll get around to actually getting the work done.

you get what you pay for. if you want to go cheap, you might get lucky and get something decent to good. more likely you'll get something that you'll always question.

get a quote, save up and pay Stephen. the man is an artist and well worth it.

If I ever have anything annodised again in pretty colors I will be going to him. Everything he does is a work of art. I love his FB posts.

I highly recommend Caustic Customs. His work is top notch and his polishing is amazing. It is such a mirror finish. I have had several anodizing nightmares through the years, but I have never had or seen anyone with an issue with Caustic Customs so far. The thing I like best about him is the updates throughout the entire process.

To reiterate what others have already said; Caustic Customs may be more expensive than other services, but it's 100% worth it. It doesn't matter if I need 1 part done in gloss black or 45 parts done in some crazy multicolor acidwash fade splash, it's going to CC. Peace of mind is a factor that shouldn't be overlooked. I know the job will be done correctly, expeditiously, I'll receive frequent updates, and I'll get my parts back without question (Not to mention they'll look amazing).

To put it another way: If somebody tells me "I sent my parts to "X" anodizing company", I wish them luck and hope everything comes out okay. If somebody tells me "I sent my parts to Caustic Customs", I grin and get excited to see more excellence.
