The next one in line to try and compete in the lower level electronic market ?

An airsoft company venturing into Paintball ?

A bit ugly to me.

Thoughts ?

I agree; it looks ugly. Also, having the body covered in PVC will make it feel (and look) cheap. At $350, it will compete with the Mini, Etha, Crossover and a handful of others all from well-known manufacturers in the paintball industry... It will be tough sledding to say the least.

As I understand they had help from Azodin. And yes, it's the new ugly plastic spoolie.

i believe that it came from the Hostile Rogue development. and why the hate? the more competition there is in the market, the better for all of us.

why the hate?

cause it's not an AUTOMAG!

The frame certainly has an Azodin look to it.

Interesting marketing, between the Gog L337 speak and the tribal symbols for each feature.

I'm all for engineered materials and design, but that body is harsh.

that is BRUTAL. Most everyone changes something about their PB gun. That's part of the fun.

The video looks like one giant sequence of Hype.

they have to hype it - or it wouldn't be a sales promo video... but even so...the parts look kinda cheap in the pictures, and the audio they have in for firing the gun sounds like my squeaky work chair.

You want to shoot a "modern design" mag? Shoot the Etha. I watched the PE Tech video for it and I'm shocked at how close they are in comparison. I honestly think that this would have been the eventual evolution of the Mag platform had Tom refined the design.

I hadnt shot my chord mag for some time and last week I shot it all day except for the last two games of the day.

After shooting the Xvalve all day, then shooting an Etha the last two games, I decided I didnt like the Etha.

Funny thing is I had been playing with the Etha for a couple months and I was fine with it, until I compared it with the mag.

Sold the Etha today.

Well, I more alluded to how the gun itself worked. They both work on the "cork in a bottle" principle. It's just that Tom used a mechanical solution to stopping the air flow and PE used a solenoid.
