what is the diameter of a hole need to be to properly thread it 8-32?

would finding out wat size a #29 drill bit is answer this? thats the drill bit that came with my 8-32 tap? but it just says #29….no actual hole diameter? maybe there is a guide for shNit like this…if you find that there is a guide will ya post it up?

Left column is the number (8), number of threads per inch is 32 (within the #8 row).
Notice that the drill is a little larger for stainless, iron, and plain steel. That lets you cut a little less thread depth, which is friendly for your tap.

ahh gotcha.
people has explained it to me many times, I just cant seem to get it to stick.
