Seams really weird to be building an xmag from all brand new parts. I have been collecting these parts for about a year now. Everything is brand new including the tuna valve with custom titanium power tube and velocity adjuster.

The barrel is custom. The back is a dye titanium glued together.....the front is a custom made xmag
style....still needs the milling done on it.

Now the real question is what to do for anodizing? I have a phoenix emag that i have been looking at for over 3 years and just cannot figure out how to anodize it.LOL

Just thought i would share the project with you guys

go to Caustic Customs. show him the gun. say, make it pretty, or suggest something pretty(best to say what you don't like, rather than what you do like). send it to Stephen and in a month, be totally blown away. case closed.

and yes, it needs an Empire feedneck.

How about something flame-ish? I always thought the x-mag had more flame look to it than the Kapp flame markers.

Times like this make me wish ODD was still doing custom projects. The nightmare xmags is amazing. As for this I have always been partial to all black, although since you have a red tuna valve, I would say something like a black to claret red to valve red fade could look good. Maybe throw in some electric blue splash to make it pop.

XMT: I would make the Xmag the exact gun that you were trying to track down a year ago. I know you are a fan of the red acidwash Xmags. You should contact Stephen @ CausticCustoms and make your Xmag into the gun you have been trying to track down all along. I have used Stephen in the past and his anodizing is up to par with what PK Selective did back in the day.

Yes im thinking about doing it acid red. I contacted arnolds anno out of cali about it......owned by the guy that worked for PK Selective at the time the X's were done. He has the same people working there that did the orginal acid red anodizing jobs. Has anyone used arnolds?
