Hello,

I spent a moment looking for a thread teaching how to obtain the best RT effect, but I didn't found.

As I just bought a scuba, I checked all my markers. Almost all of them worked fine and I fixed the others.

But I noticed something :
I've many valves, retro, rt pro and X, with the same tank with ninja shp reg, some RT like beast others just shoot fine.

Here is where I need your help :

What may I do to get a nice RT effect with all my valves ?

The same with my emag/xmag in mechanical mode, my xmag RT the 2 emags don't ?

What can I do with these too ?

Thanks for your help.

i'm no expert but from what I have picked up since being on this forum is the on/off pin length can be the determining factor on how much rt you get. you might switch the on/off assemblies around and see if it changes your rt effect. that's where I would start.

It's more based on how broken in the orings are. Some valves can rt at 850psi some at 1400psi. Pin length does matter but to short and you will get premature wear. Then you will have to replace sears and bolts. Best thing you can do is oil and play.

Pin length is probably the difference in your setups. The emags will be different, because the solenoid assembly has mass and does affect the force by/on the trigger. You can tune the on-off assemblies in your mechanical markers by adding one or two ULT shims between the on-off halves. It will simulate a shorter on-off pin.

Thanks guys.
I'll check all is oiled but I'm almost certains it is, and I'll try to add shims.
I'll let you know.

Typing error corrected ! Thanks OPBN !!!!!!!!

There are a few factors,

#1 Input pressure: Did you use a different tank?
#2 friction on the on/off pin: Did the on/off orings swell, are they old, or did they need some oil?
#3 Did the solenoid plunger break loose and go out of spec, or bend? That effects it as well.
#4 Same thing for the trigger rod?
#5 Did you over tighten the sear axle or either of the frame screws?

The 1150 that mine puts out gets me over 20bps, 1600 would be insane.

Use the Ninja SHP regulator. It's all set at 1,200, and made all my MAGS RT, that didn't RT at 900. That was my only change.

1600 !!!!! I didn't even imagine it could exist !

On my side, I use my Ninja SHP.

I kind of enjoy having different RT effects from one mag to the other. It gives me an excuse to play with them in different types of games. It also gives each mag even more of its own personality.
