Looks like a Benchmark groovy frame to me.

Remember the name I looked for and it was Kapp groovy. Then the question is it a Kapp or a Benchmark? I think it's a Kapp ... or ?? :)

Both made them. Maybe Benchmark made them for KAPP? I have one here and it takes a Benchmark safety. Just bought perhaps one of the last ones from PTP last week.

Benchmark safety and you can swap the trigger out to one of the newer better ones also.

Shim the side of the trigger and it will provide a nice crisp feel.

The is an older non-indexed front with a minimag back from a different valve. The non-indexed threads don't allow the z-lock pin to sit in the correct orientation.

Looks like maybe someone was experimenting with it drilling holes.

Been years since I had a Classic valve, but I know I never oiled them from those holes.

I did look back at some pics of an old one I had and it does have those two holes though.

the "lasering" is rubbed off but you can just see the"O" between those holes that said oil.

Back seems to be from minimag and front of the valve from classic, I guess?

Looks like matching front and back. (you can see the MM108.. S/N in the first picture) Just needs a 1/4 turn to line up.

SZI never noticed the number in the first pic, but you are right. It does look like a matching number. However, the back looks tight on the valve front. It doesn't look like it will turn another 1/4 turn clockwise. To get the z-lock pin to line up, you would need to turn the valve 3/4 of a turn counter clockwise, which would open up a larger gap. It should still work though, so it should be done to lock everything in place.

Have it at home now. Have looked through it and anon is in mint condition. Needed just a little turn to valve to line up. Will do some "minor" changes to it during this weekend.
