does anyone know what kind of wood are the smartparts wood grips made out of,or how their made

dymondwood, a laminate kind of like plywood.

alot of rifle stocks were made years ago from the same stuff, wild colors and patterns. Tough stuff, but can be abused,and refinished. I own several pair, like them all.
