What, no roster of parts? I know that the feedneck matches the ripper body, but can you deal with a non-clamping feedneck?

Lol my bad, I just figured most folks here already know exactly what my parts are.:)
I'll be having 2 different drops and feednecks annoed
List coming.:)

If using a drop is comfortable to you, use one. Don't be deterred by what's perceived as cool or uncool...

That's kind of true, but for me, the bigger issue is that the foregrip and drop do not have any similar lines to the body of the marker.
I'd be looking for a lightning drop or stiletto drop to at least get some similar lines.

are you building a pneumag? If not, I'd ditch the foregrip and go with something with more texture. An RPG grip on a 15* ASA would give a more similar flow to the body.

Ooh yeah a drop is a must for me but if there is cool looking one that I haven't saw yet I might just be all over it.:)
Thanks

Oh i know. If drops work for you, to hell with popular belief. I loved Lapco drops. Moved it just enough for me.

But for parts list, i didn't know off hand what the foregrip was, or that it is for a pneu-setup. Plus, be proud of your parts and your build, especially if you have something rare and/or special.

ATM I'm missing ball detents, the pneumatic kit and having the small channel milled for the internal air line ,ooh the ccm macro fittings.lol I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.:)

Your build looks great what are you doing for ano, color, design? Have you looked at the psychoballistics z drop here's one.

Yeah that drop looks very interesting. My anno scheme is leaning towards a base white with a blood spatter on body grip frame and foregrip while the feedneck ,rail, barrel and drop get a blood red base with a white spatter and fittings and detents too.:)
Oh the grip panels will be base blood red with a white spatter ,lol but all may be subject to change.sort of a yen yang vampire murder scene ;)

That z drop is pretty neat and has some complementary style lines to it. It's fully adjustable at both pivots, correct?

Yup! Both sides pivot, allowing many different options, and has a built in on/off ASA. It can handle a 114ci tank it says

i could be wrong, but i don't think its possible to get a white anodize, might have to powdercoat for white

yeah i was thinking myself of trying to do a white mag, and i looked around on the web and it seems like the only white markers i found were powdercoated , but overall i dig your build, i've wanted a ripper myself, just can't seem to figure out a time or the money to start that build yet

I like having the big drop forwards, but I agree. that red one just does not flow with the rest of the marker, the z does fit better. I would say the cp razor would be another, not big but would be nice and slick go with the rest of the marker.

Yeah I agree the Z looks like it will be a better fit.I've been looking at different drops through different sites.

I use a Shocktech drop on my pump Mag with a 22/3000 tank.

And a CCM Minidrop on my Ripper with a 90/4500

Chrome

If you're looking to get something in a similar drop to the red one, here are some dimensions I've gathered on the CP and Shocktech drops. On the Shocktech ones, I got both the overall length of the part (OAL) as well as how far down and forward the drop gets your ASA. I always thought a shock #4 or #5 would be great with a 22ci, if I didn't have mine set up differently already. Hope this helps!

CP MICRO RAZOR DROP - 1.25" DOWN, 2" FORWARD
CP RAZOR DROP - 2" DOWN, 3" FORWARD

SHOCKTECH #2 - 2-7/8" OAL, 1/2" DOWN, 1" FORWARD
SHOCKTECH #3 - 3-7/8" OAL, 1-1/2" DOWN, 2-5/8" FORWARD
SHOCKTECH #4 - 4-1/2" OAL, 1-3/4" DOWN, 3-1/4" FORWARD
SHOCKTECH #5 - 5-1/4" OAL, 1-3/4" DOWN, 4" FORWARD

part of my aversion to custom anno is the expense. I'm a rather practical guy and I've experienced the joy of trying to sell a custom anno marker and seeing how that rarely gets included in the selling price. So no more custom anno for me.

You do get what you pay for. Use the Rule of 3 for anno.
1) Quality
2) Price
3) Speed(on how quick it gets done)

Pick 2 of the above.

I have a ndz and 4 of Luke's angled. (Hehe)
What I ran into unexpectedly was ,I had 5 right hand surgerys to repair where I crushed and cut just about everything in it with a hand vs boat trailer vs truck bumper accident. The drop kicks and wedges are unusable to me because of the limitations of hand and wrist movement.lol I'll be having a sales thread soon for several nice and unused items.:)
