Have you ever found out that you've been fired, and no one told you? Yep! the payroll service at my job decided to fire me and not even tell my boss about it. You can just imagine the look on his face when He called to find out why my pay check wasn't in with the rest. Then think of my face when He told me that I "wasn't" fired, but I wasn't getting payed yesterday.I wounder if I can get unemployment while still working? I think if it's a weird as* problem it happens to me. Am I just a test subject for weird?

Like Office Space. We never fired him, we just stopped paying him.

Thanks guys. I'm still employed. I kinda found it amusing how one small glitch in the system and I got "deleted". My boss straightened them out and my check is being delivered Monday.

Weird, yes... but scary that you can be removed with the accidental combination of the wrong key strokes.

"you" = anyone in the electronic age.

Payroll services accidentally put a decimal point in the wrong spot of one our summer interns. After 2 weeks of work I think she made about $12.50. Took a month of back and forth to fix.

Well thank the Powers that be I'm not an intern. My check came in today via special del. and I'm unglitched. Still it is kinda spooky how one small clerical error could wipe a body out.
