So, I have loads of cockers and mags, a Tippmann B5, and a nice Viking.

When I look at stores or Ebay, I have no idea what these new markers are, what are actually superior to the others, and what are going to hang around for more than a generation or two.

I'm not looking for a new marker, but I'm seriously out of touch with what are the "regular" new markers that people are buying/using these days.

Anybody's input is appreciated. I'd rather buy parts and build my own, but am curious as to what manufacturers people are following these days.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :bounce:

I think the AXE is the most basic. Most people trade them with cash. It's so common that the term: "Axe + Cash" is a term when you're trading for something more expensive like and Ego, Geo, Lux, Damn!

Axe, Egos, and DMs.

I also see a lot of A5s.

local field "tournament teams" are primarily Luxe's.

Mostly I see Axe, Geo, LV1, Vanquish and Luxe among serious players.

There are a few (very few) DMs and Bob Longs on the field but not near as many as in the past. Then a few MacDev fanboys and Vanguard users.

I would put my vote on the axe as well. I have had one for 3yrs and love it. It has some qualities that have a nice balance for my electro needs of life.
