I don't know which I like more having to drill the head off the stainless frame screw because one of the previous owners stripped it or the tube of super glue squirting 10 times more glue down the inside of the level 10 bolt than needed to try and glue a foamie on.:cuss:

Vintage, I was worried for a second until I saw the words stripped, and super glue. It wasn't one of mine!

Maybe I'm not cleaning the bolt off good enough, but I have one that keeps blowing the foamie off.

i just put the super glue on the foamie, then place the foamie in the bolt.

Oh, and never, NEVER try to read the little writing on taps with out your contacts in and /or enjoying several adult beverages (while your garage is filled with premium cigar smoke) . 6/32 my ass. :/

You replace foamies? Never needed to. If they got shot out, then it didn't need to be there in the first place...

lol! I have a illuminated magnifier lamp in the garage for that. I had to vacuum the lathe chips out of it this weekend.

Between the printers and laser markers, you think you're getting old. Then you get the things under good light and a magnifier and realize you couldn't have read it when you were 20.

I've never had issues with superglue on foamies. I just clean the front really well and ensure that no residues are left over.

A good quality epoxy is a better option than superglue.
