ok, this might be a dumb question but how do tourney locks work? it looks like it would just fall off the back of the gun. I also dont see how it would lock down you screw. enlighten me someone!

Bah, I have always wondered that myself. I see 2 scrw holes on the lock but none on the gun. 0.o

On the ring type locks...there are threads on the inside of the ring that screw on to the velocity adjuster and there are two set screws(opposing each other) on the outer edge of the ring that tighten down on the adjusters threads...and then you have the two set screws that tighten down onto the rear edge of the regulator housing that prevents the vel.nut from being turned.:D

The KAPP ones are really nice. They are tiny and have 4 screws that lock the velocity in.

Yep, and I would suggest one no matter where you are playing. It's much nicer to lock in your reg on the back and not worry about it.

Can these tourney locks be placed on RTs or is there none for a Rt?

Don't need one for the RT, RT-Pro, ReTro or EMag, those valves have a slightly different vel adjuster and doesn't need to be locked.

You'd need one on a Mini to, seing as that it's a classic valve right?
