I hated 8.1 with the stupid boxes.

I downloaded lee-soft.com to make it look like 7.

Now microsoft has given me 10 for free.

I have to say its not bad at all, much better now.

Anyone else get 10 yet ?

Thoughts ?

Thats whats on mine at work too.

Big companies can be slow to upgrade, especially when there are hundreds of PC's to pay upgrade fees on.

mine is the only computer on the plant floor that is not dedicated to a specific task and since all i have is a desk and no office i get other peoples hand me downs. its ten times better than the one it replaced. it was a 16 bit computer that was maddeningly slow especially when i needed to look at something on the internet like McMaster Carr or Grainger.

How much HDD space did Win10 take up for you?
I assume it was an upgrade and not a clean install where I would have to reload all of my programs and other junk?

I'm not sure, it was incremental from 8.1 to 10.

I think the USB install for both 32 and 64 bit was 5.9 GB. So the working install files were probably under 3 GB.

Say if I go from win7 to win10... can I "undo" it and go back to win7 easily or will I have to reinstall win7 from scratch or an old image?

You should be able to create a restore point before install.

It's pretty similar , I'm guessing you won't mind 10.

It's 8 that is IMHO that's garbage.
