Will a Kapp Drop Zone 2 fit on my 68 3000 Flatline tank, can I just take the silver ring/clamp off and set up the Drop Zone around the reg where the silver clamp used to be, also would it hurt the tank to put the Kapp Drop ZOne 2 onto the neck of the bottle.

No, ity won't fit unless you put it on the neck of the bottle, and that's not reccomended.

I need a good practical drop forward, you know one that acutally drops the tank and brings it up enough. Please Help. I would like to use a Kapp Drop Zone 2 or somethign like that.

Well, if it means anything to you, Jon from AGD has a DZ II attached right to the neck of his flatline.

Would that hurt the tank though, would having the drop zone 2 attached right onto the neck ruin some of the integrity of the tank , what if I put something around the neck of the tank like some sort of cloth and then attached teh drop zone, that would look gross though, what should i do?

I don't understand why people say not to attach it to the neck.

If you attach it further down the reg, you are INCREASING the leverage against the neck in the case the gun is dropped. By attaching the cradle directly to the neck, you are minimizing leverage. And since the necks on the tanks are aluminum anyway, you aren't going to damage it.

There may be a valid arguement why not too, but right now I just don't see it.

Should I put some type of cloth or neoprene or somehting around the neck so the Drop Zone does not scrath it very easily, I dont want my flatline to get dmaged seeing it cost me a fortune! Thanks, please, I would like some pics

Just a thought, but why not use the Kapp DZ with the Dovetail, then get the Flatline Dovetail adapter from AGD? Seems like you would get the best of both worlds!

Kapp DZ Dove Tail (http://www.888paintball.com/product_card.asp?ItemNo=16%2D2%2DKPP+DS+D+T+C+BK)

AGD Flatline dove Tail Adapter (http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=17&Product_ID=156&CATID=5)
