91851Trying to build the Devilmag here. ULT + SHP Ninja tank.

It either fires 2 shots or goes full auto.

Any suggestions.

take some shims out of your ult.

I took all the shims out. It's still doing it. Double shooting, then full-auto.

Let's determine if it's the electronic frame or the rest of the marker. Put a mechanical trigger frame on the marker. Does it still have issues?

Those have morlock predator boards in them right? Have you tried different fireing modes?

Step #1 - stop using the SHP tank and use one that the output is 850.

Step #2 - set your ROF to 15bps
Step#3 - set your fire mode to SEMI
Step #4 - set you DEBOUNCE to 10 or higher
Step #5 set your dwell between 6 and 10.

I take that back - STEP #1 try a stock body first. Then go to the next step.

Thanks guys. I don't have air in my 850 output tanks right now, so I'll have to wait until I can get lower air.

I was wondering if the SHP is making the ULT go nuts.

Hi there - as the previous owner of that frame and having also used it with SHP and standard setups I can confirm that it will in fact tend to go full auto with an SHP.
Standard works perfectly in any mode.

Apart from that what BigEvil posted is spot on:
"Step #1 - stop using the SHP tank and use one that the output is 850.

Step #2 - set your ROF to 15bps
Step#3 - set your fire mode to SEMI
Step #4 - set you DEBOUNCE to 10 or higher

I sent it to you with an ROF of 15 bps and debounce and dwell didn't cause any issues when I had it either - so I would recommend trying to use a standard setup/tank with 850 psi first before changing other settings.

BTW - I also have one of those XMT carbon bodies - worked fine with it - no issues whatsoever.
I did, however, use a Rail with an RT sear and not an AM/MM type - that probably helps also.

Once you get it working you'll have a lot of fun with that thing! :headbang:

Ha ha. My 400 PSI SLP Ninja tanks shoots exactly the same what as the SHP. So, I'll try to switch out the rail now.

Could a bad sear be causing such a thing? What does a bad sear look like?

Rounded edge instead of sharp point.

Yup, DevilsDen (I believe that was the shops name, its been awhile) used RPG Chimera slugs to make some of the Devilmag frames. He also used Hyperframes for some.

Fixed. Board was left in programming mode. I needed my magnifier glasses to see the tiny toggle switches. This thing ripps now. Thank you everyone. Not sure why you even need eyes. Shot a whole hopper of boiled crappy paint in the garage, didn't break one ball out of a gravity feed hopper. That level 10 is amazing.

Glad to hear it's working now. Did you get it from me with the toggle switches left in programming mode?? Would be strange though, since I never had any issues when switching between firing modes and other settings - it would always operate without any issues and I sued it quite a bit

Yeah weird. It was in programming mode for sure. I needed a microscope to see the tiny switches and a razor prong to switch the switches. I love it. But, it didn't work with the RT sear. It only works with the AM/MM sear.

That is very strange... well, the important thing now is that you got it to work with your setup.
