So I'm nearing completion of my Redlined/Nummech Automag and wanted to share with the mag community. some of you may remember this when it was just mechanical. It was a very difficult and frustrating project, but it was worth it. I had to modify the rail to fit the Mini Gs eyeboard and modified the eyeboard. Some trimming and resoldering was necessary. Last thing is to anno the rail dust black and maybe tighten up the settings. I may want to get the back of the rail milled to angle more. But other than that it shoots great. The video is very short just to show it functions. I'll have a better video after I make some trigger adjustments.

Just uploaded the finished product. I had the rail annodized, put a new barrel and tuned up the trigger. I should have a much better shooting video soon.

I really like the look of the Nummech frame and GS grip on there! I'd be interested to see the guts on this...

I added a few pics of the insides. It pretty much functions like an Axe.

Resurrecting this...

What were you using for a solenoid on this? Also, where did you put the micro-switch?

I'm really interested in this because I really like the look of this frame.

Looks like clapper on one of the pictures?

Cool lil project.. if you hadnt said it was a mag in the title, id have assumed it was just a weird looking invert mini from the trigger frame and foregip 😜

the solenoid is from an old autococker egrip. the microswitch is built into the Mini Gs eyeboard that sits in the rail. zoom in on the second picture and you see it. it functions just like a axe/mini gs, the top of the trigger presses the microswitch on the eyeboard.

Looks like you spent a lot of time on it.

Was it worth it ?

Yes it was worth it. I wasn't sure if it was possible. I had the idea in my head for a long time before I decided to try it.

Hows it work out at the field, efficiency wise ?

I never liked the way an Ego frame looked on a Mag, this frame is HOT. This looks like a factory made gun...great job...I love it.

Not very efficient because it's still an Xvalve at the heart of it, but my field has unlimited refills so it doesn't effect me.

I wouldnt blame the Xvalve so much, they can be tuned to be surprisingly efficient.
