View Full Version : Lightest tank for offset CA adapter?

I recently came across a ViewLoader adjustable cradle and love the positioning of the tank in when fully to the left. It is now of course off balance, but it's on an A5 which is heavily hopper right.

I don't think a full loader evens things out enough, so I was wondering what tanks you guys may suggest that are very light, but still quality. It also needs to be a "standard" 68 cubic inch as fatter/peanut tanks won't fit. I also don't want to go smaller than 68 if I can. I guess I could get a 45 just for this setup, but it would still need to be light.

This is for future tinkering, so I'm in no rush to buy right now.

Thanks!

My 68 Ninja SL (super light) has a 45 sized tank cover on it, that will tell how much smaller they are.

ninja sl77...you can fit regular 68/45 covers on it. the 68sl is an oddball, and covers are a lot harder to fit. they are almost always for 45/45s, and not many actually fit (length is ok, but diameter is much greater than 45/45).

Sl 68 as it is thinner then the current 68 we make and should work.

If not you will need to get a 45 and I know that will fit
