I'm sure it can be done- has anyone used shrink wrap to cover their ss braided hardlines, I would like to do this I'm just not sure which size tubing to get.

Easy to do, just get whatever the smallest one that will fit over it. Shrink wrap will shrink a lot so even if it fits loose to start it should shrink down and be formed over it.
