This is a 5-man event. Participation is limitted to teams of eligible players from the same college or high school. Eligible players must be full time undergraduate, graduate or high school students. There are limitted exceptions for combined teams from multiple schools and students on internships, coops and other approved leaves of absence, but approval must be obtained in advance from the NCPA President. There will be Varsity and JV college divisions. JV players must be freshmen or sophomores or have less than one year of tournament experience.

Warning: Poor behavior will *NOT* be tolerated. Players unable to respect themselves and others will be asked to leave and they and their teams may face further disciplinary action. We actively maintain the best competitive environment for our players and referees.

Vendors wishing to attend the event should contact NCPA President Chris Raehl at raehl311@yahoo.com or at (715)720-9131. You do not need to be recognized by the school. You do need photo ID and documents proving that everyone on your team is a full time student at the same college. There are some limitted exceptions to that which you'll have to get advanced approval from me for. Pretty much all the info you need is at www.nationals.college-paintball.com.

School ID's are fine for the photo ID. They may not necesarily covver you for current student status however if they arn't dated.

What level do most of these teams play on? Novice, Rookie, Amautuer A, Amautuer B, etc.

"Most" is a tricky word. Many are playing their first tournament, but the top college teams are probably somewhere in the Am A-Am B area. The players on the top teams this year were on total newbie teams two to three years ago.

While the top teams certainly have the SKILLS of Am A-Am B players, I do need to stress that they don't PLAY like them, in the sense that a lot of that so called "gray area" play (what cheaters call cheating) doesn't happen in college tournaments, nor is a lot of the behavior you can catch at the amatuer level in other leagues tolerated in the slightest. Translation: If you're a new team, you'll most likely play teams that are significantly more experienced than you, but you'll also play teams at your level as well. Either way, you'll have a fun time and learn something.
