Approx. how many shots can you get out of a 20oz. Co2 tank without the bolt kit? Thanks!

I would refrain from using c02 on a Matrix. I think they prefer n2, correct me if im wrong..

I'm fairly positive they can use Co2 just like the Impulse/Shocker.

While a Matrix does operate better with CA, they can be run on CO2 with minimal difficulty. Provided you are running a remote/anti-siphon. On top of that, you will want an on/off valve for your CO2, so that when you set the gun down you will not draw liquid.

As for the number of shots, count on 1000+.

Really? But I thought E-Matrixs were supposed to be horribly un-efficient?

Many guns can use CO2 such as Shocker, Impulse, Autocockers, Tippmann Model 98 and some others but that dosn't dosn't make CO2 a cleaner gas.. seriously, it's a dirty gas. It's carbondioxide. Make you gun happy, use air.

The efficiancy is concidered very bad but you can purchase a bolt mod where it will make you Matrix much more efficant ie 1500 shots with an 88ci/4500. But if you do'nt feel like speneind $150, you can just buy a larger tank like an 88/3k where you'll be getting around 800-900 shots with.

See this is what I'm talking about, now you want an E-Matrix. Why don't you just get an IR3 Angel with a Shocker, E-Matrix and a cocker duct-taped to it.

i read on warpig that YOU DO NOT use co2 on the matrix, of course i could be wrong but i wouldnt want to even chance screwing up a gun like that.

and yes its very innefficient, again i got that from warpig

I am positive you can use CO2 on a matrix...But like all guns CO2 destroys it. So use nitro, if you are gonna spend 650 on a gun spring another 200 for a tank.

ok
i will answer this one since i have a matrix.
Yes you can use Co2 on a matrix
and Yes you will get more shots than off of a 68/3000.
The matrix IS horribly inefficient when you get it stock, but if you get the bolt kit from aardvark you get a lot more shots per tank (they claim 33% more).
The MAIN reason you dont want to use co2 on your matrix is because of how dirty it is. This could inturn damage your solenoid... which would be a bad thing. If running co2 I would either run it remote or anti syphon.
Also some sort of a filter can be used
hope this helps

If you're going to quote WARPIG, you might want to read the WARPIG review of the Matrix. Owing to the fact that it runs at such a low operating pressure it works fine on CO2.

just make sure to run it remote
or get one of those big co2 fiberwrapped bottles smart parts makes
im pretty sure they are anti-siphon
