I have a few Logic UMF trigger frames and I was curious, to those who have them, what panels/grips do you use on them? Any aluminum panels that fit nice on them?

Makes sense I guess, I think if I ever make any specifically for that frame it would have to of been on the knee mill and could have been more than 10 years ago.

on the knee mill.
I’ve got some of your knee mill grips. We’ve talked about that before.

I had some woodies that someone made for the UMF but traded them off a year ago. They were cool but just not my thing. Like I said, 45s’ or maybe some stickies.

Years ago Kruger was making wood grips for them.

I found a pic of the ones I had. Might these be them?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180911/d55cf8bac0913bdce59ca673ca1e600f.jpg

Everything is more symmetrical and fits better with the Kruger grips being made specifically for that frame, but I do like me some Cam Drive asa's though.

If we could do a pre-oder, I could redesign my basic 45 grips to fit the Logic frame properly.

I'd be for sure in for 2 sets maybe 3 if the price was right

They would be in the 40 range and I would need a minimum order of 25 to get the project done.

I'd be in if I had a UMF. I'd be surprised if there were enough UMFs still actively floating around to get that going though. I hardly ever see those around anymore.
Wish you guys luck on that pre order

I bought an aluminum set off Billz804(?) about 8 months ago. It's a dust silver/white from an old build (dust: ULE body, RPG Strangler feedneck, RPG Shadow rail, UMF frame, UMF panels, RRfireblade trigger, PTP Emag battery pack cover).

So someone made them at some point. If there's not enough for a Luke pre-order there's also LNT Mfg out of NY on FB that does custom aluminum grip panels.

I'm more than OK with him taking the work, truth is panels take too much time to make when their 3d milled front and back, finishing them is a huge headache, and by far my least favorite projects to do. :)

I just looked him up on FB, it looks like he only does flat panels, not really the same product, but his other stuff looks pretty awesome. :)

I wouldn’t mind seeing what you had up your sleeve with these luke. I just saw a UMF sell the other day so, there’s another person that might be interested. I bet if word got out, we’d get really close to 25. At the risk of sounding like the Mag whore that I am, I’d be down for 4 sets.

I'll still make them for you guys if we sell 25. Go ahead and put the word out, if enough people chime in here I'll setup a thread. :)

No worries, if the end result is a run of grips being made then I'm more than happy to have you hijack this thread

I would be in for 3 sets. Just need to see an idea of the style.

Aren't u doing UMF frames sometime soon? Any extra grips would fit your frames. I'm down for a pair

All I had in mind was basically my 45 grips, 3d milled front and back, and the top and bottom at the correct angle to match the frame. They should be very light weight.

I would be interested in a set.
