Is there any difference between a Retro valve sear and a classic 68 sear? and if there is, is it ok to use the normal sear with the Retro valve? I mean, can I drop in the retro valve into my classic w/o switching out the sear?

The sear used by the ReTro Valve, and the A.I.R. valve are one and the same. The only reason the RT used different sears is because they had roller bearing sears, which had the sear pin screw in through the side of the body rail.

yes, you can, there is no differance, however you may have to shorten your trigger rod length, I doubt it though.

The Retro sear used to be harder than the regular one... but they're the same now.
