Hey guys

I need to know if the 1000mA AC Power Adapter I just bought at Radio Shack is the correct unit... the guy at RS said it "should" work.

Unfortunatley I did not search these forums until after purchasing the unit. My search did not bring up this specific unit, but a couple other different ones from RS. So which one is the correct one? Will this one work? Will I fry my charger/battery?

Here is the item on Radio Shack's website. (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F004%5F001%5F001%5F000&product%5Fid=273%2D1690)

Attached is a pick of the one I purchased.

Thanks guys.

You want 12v not 18/24v

Look for the 12v 1500 mAh charger and then get the purple tip for it. Have the RS geek check the polarity of teh stock unit and set yours up to match. I belive that the tip should be + and the collar -

You can also get a plug in a cigarette lighter transformer.

It plugs into your wall and changes your wall outlet into a ciagarette lighter outlet. Just plug your e-mag cord into the transformer. Alot easier and no guesswork.

I was thinking of ordering an adaptor that would allow me to plug the cigerette lighter part into the adaptor, and then plug the adaptor into the wall. Actually, I was thinking of ordering the Angel wall adaptor, will that work?

Will this definetly work I need a new charger and I do not have 50 bucks to spend. I just want to make sure it will not hurt my board or battery before I use it.
