I read that the RT valve could support 26 bps or more. I was wondering how many bps my stock .68 mag valve could handle. I got the gun from a friend and he upgraded the charger to the Hurricane one.

Thanks for your time and help,
Eugene

A old valve with hurricane mod and possibly a reactor on/off valve could probably push up to or around 15bps with little or no drop off

You will never shoot that fast without an electronic marker.

it's been said that a stock valve willl start having drop off at 6 bps, but you won't notice it till 11bps. either way, you're not going to hit more than that so i don't think you should really worry about going faster.

Properly set up, drop off will start at 10-11 bps, max ROF will be around 15-16, but you aren't going to see that unless you have a ELCD in Full-Auto(Even the Hyperframe is 13bps max)

well I know it can take it, if you get your gun set right, you can fire 12-13 without it being an electro gun, you don't always have to run home to electros. I used to shoot this fast on my old gun, never faster cause I could'nt load it fast enough but 10+ without too bad drop off is possible

Hurricane and Reactor valve are ALL about placebo effect. If 7 more holes made a difference they'd spend the 10 cents more in manufacturing cost. If a new on/off design flowed more air they'd do it. If Tom didn't care about making his products the best they can be, why do you think he's spent the last four months doing nothing but researching why guns break paint and fixing it for the Xtreme? Wouldn't you think he'd have put the gun on he market instead of losing money every day with all the R&D they're doing?
