Im hoping I can either get a replacement or a refund or something. I'll call tomorrow for an RA number.

And yes, this was the NEW Nylon Hybrid ones. It was only about 3 weeks old. Only used twice. :(

I really feel for you guys who's bolts are breaking. I've had mine since December it was upgraded by AGD and I've put around 6 or 7 cases through the marker since. The bolt shows no significant wear, or appearent stress marks.

man, thats not cool! My new superbolt's working good. In any case, send it in so they can take a look at it and see whats up, and they'll hook you up with a new one.

Yeah I really loved it when it was in one piece.

I think it broke because it was 35* out and the wind chill was in the teens, but heard you guys had fun. Thordis said you looked all over for the tip.

Mine is still going strong after at least 5-7 cases of paint plus numbers of dry fires. I love my superbolt :) hehe

The tip was MIA, me and Riotz searched for a good 5 minutes at the range where it broke.

I dident know temperature would cause the tip to break. There are no warnings on the package about it. So you are saying that I broke it because I used it? You show me where it says "Do not use your super bolt in temperatures below 35 degrees." and I will accept this.

The tips never fly out with any speed when they break right? Do they just kinda spit out or what?

But it appears that keeping the foamie on isn't a problem.

No I just thought that maybe it was so cold the the broke of, I have no clue why it broke, we will have to wait for tom to get back to answer this.

I have no idea where the tip went. The bolt SEEMS to have broken on the target range, but we don't know for sure. If it did, we don't know where the tip ended up. We took a look, but couldn't find it.

that would have been kinda cool to see the tip of a bolt fly out of someones gun,as long as it doesnt hit anyone or anything to cause damage of course, hope they give you a new one,or fix it,or something, that really sucks

How disheartening. I'm going to give it 6 months or so until I buy one. Maybe everything will be worked out by then.

Foamie wheres the foamie I don't see one:rolleyes: I belive that that black piece on top of the bolt is part of the sleeve. A foamie is a little round sponge looking thing that sits on the sleeve.

the round pieces of foam are used on venturi type bolts...AGD bolts are the triangular kind, and the one in the pic is in fact the foamie :D

go to the AGD online store if you don't believe me, and look for the AGD foamies...

Just got my bolt last week and I put a little under a case on mine yesterday (in 20 degree weather) and the bolt shows signs of wear... I'll get some pics up later tonight.

Thats cool, but it should last years ....not weeks. In this case ya night as well just stick with the stock bolt, or a ventori....

LaW

actually it is not meant to last years. six months to one year depending on use is what the life of the sleeves are. The sleeves are a wear item. I do agree that the entire bolt itself should last many many years :)

Why not just super glue the darn thing on. If it breaks, it won't matter, it will just get a crack in it. When its time to change it drop it in a glass of fingernail polish remover, or paint thinner overnight. It will ruin your foamie too, but big deal. Then you can cut it off with a razor knife like normal. Whenever I get around to buying a SB I'll probably do that. BTW, I normally would never use the word "darn" but with the spankings being administered lately, I wasn't sure if I should use the word that beavers make with an N on it.
