Evil empire refers to the imperialistic expansion of the united states. If you are a patriotic person you dont really wana useit cus some educated political science major is guna come and make fun of your ignorace. Just thought youd know. Thats why rage agaist the machine used that name. They are a band that speaks out against politics in the united states and supports a socialist movemet. Yea so so cal explosion just kinda cheezy, but much better.

Definetly the second one, "Socal Explosion". Its representative of where your from, and its got a nice flare to it. The first one makes you look like posers, copying Rage's album title. Thats what I think anyway.

Evil Empire does not refer to the US's Imperialistic Expansion. It's a quote from a famous speach by Ronald Reagan characterizing the USSR as an 'Evil Empire'. The RATM album was sort of a 'back at ya' comment, seeming to say, that the US has become like the USSR.

I like it as a team name. SoCal Explosion is kinda generic.

Yeah I would go with SoCal Explosion... but nothing beats my Team DIRT :D and Rage is dead ever since Zach De La Rocha left they will never be the same

mykroft is correct about the "Evil Empire" reference. And for the record, Rage's political views are very un-American: they are Communist in their beliefs. Which is why I ask, "Then why are you on one of the largest record lables in the world--Sony?) But it would be cool if Chris Cornell joins the band.

On another note, I kind of like SoCal Explosion. Anything to do with SoCal is cool. Besides, a paintball team is hardly large enough to be considered an Empire...

:D
