im in the market for a new barrel, & i was wondering which one gives you more range & consistency & efficiency. all your replys are welcome.
none will give u different range except flatline or zbody... other wise i would recomend getting a freak because its kinda like the last barrel u'll ever need to buy... if u dont have enuff for a freak get a j&j ceramic they are really really nice on mags

All barrels give the same range and consistency.
Same range because the ball leaves the barrel at whatever speed your chronoed at and same consistency because that really has to do with your reg and paint.
Better Gas efficency can be gained by using a longer barrel with less porting. Two piece barrels are not very efficent.
Depending on how much you are willing to spend:
Cheap: Get a lapco
Midrange: Get a Boa
Expensive: Go for the Freak or a CP Kit

Range is a function of velocity.
All guns get the same range given the same velocity. Do a search on physics.
Range myths are started by people who want to sell you stuff.
Consistency has to do with paint to barrel match the closer the match the more consistent your gun will be.

length has nothing to do with accuracy in a paintball gun.

Gas efficiency and loudness is about all that varies between barrels. My suggestion would be to get the pretty one. :)
