A nubbin is a thing that goes in the groove of your barrel(unless you have a MicroMag or something with cocker threads) that keeps paint from double feeding. It does the same thing(pretty much) as a ball detent.

RT is just a short way to say ReTro Valve. (see the capital "R" "T" in there?)

a nubbin is a ball detent, for an automag, its the wire in the barrel. An RT valve is the older RT, its a slightly different size, the ReTro valve is what you see on most upgrade mags, and the new RT's (RT pro). Its all really confusing, but if it's a pro, or a regular mag and says RT, its the ReTro valve.

RT stood for Reactive Trigger when the automagrt came out. it didnt stand for retro.

Rt still stands for reactive trigger. They functionally both are exactly the same. The RT is a differant size, and not interchangable with any other gun. The retro will work in an e-mag (with a differant on-off), rt pro, classic mag, or minimag. The RT also got air from a gas through body rail, where the retro gets is from the side like the standard valves.

As stated before, the nubbin fits into the side of the barrel and works as a ball detent. Ive included a pic of an AGD plastic Nubbin installed in a barrel and one uninstalled to better show you what it looks like and whatnot.

As for the RT valves, the ReTro Valve, the RT PRO and E-Mag valves are all exactly the same, except one says "ReTro Valve" one says "RT PRO" and the other says "E-Mag" aside from that, theres no difference between them. The only RT valve that differs is the valve found in Classic Automag RTs, which are a bit longer than the current ones, and work virtually in the same manner.
