Hey guys, I plan on playing a lot this summer and want to try and get a group together to play on a regualr basis and represent AO.

My favorite field is Hells Survivors and it's somewhat centrally located. I'm thinking of playing twice a month/every other week and trying to have a core group of 5-10 show up.

Post here if you'd like to be a part of this.

I live about an hour from HS towards D-town. Maybe you can join us at least once during the summer.

Hey Dr. Stockclass do you know fred?
Synreal, futureball is not that much closer than hell.
Mongrel, do you ever play at lone wolf.

I should be out in force this summer. Just let me know wich field everybody will be at and I'm in (unless I've got a wedding to go to).
Looks like I'll be going to futureball on April 20th. Anybody else gonna be there?

wyn-
i live in the deep hood, it only takes me 20 minutes to hike out to futureball, i haven't timed the trip to hell's yet, but its over an hour for me.

tato and i will both be at futureball's FREE PLAY DAY on april 20th (hint hint, the FREE part is the important bit ;) )

Used to live down that way, now I'm up by pontiac.
I think a few of my buddies are looking to head out on the 20th too, maybe even the little lady, who might be using my old timmi, if my new GZ gets here in time.

I like going to other fields too but you can bring your own paint to Hell and thats where so much of my PB funds get sucked in.

well DR,

i live in ann arbor, and will be going to hell at least once a month if not twice. i have 3-6 other people that go with me every time.

we should set some thing up so that we go on the same weekends.

p.s. to all michigan players. it isent to early to start thinking about the michigan monstor. i will be getting a campsite again this year. so we should make it an AO hangout.

Good stuff, thats the kind of response I was hoping for. I'll definitely be in touch when school is over, around april 20th.

Thanks syn, and I thought HS was only another 10 min west on M36.

Best way for me so far is to go west on I-96 and then go south on D-19/pinckney road. Takes me about 40 min.

I refuse to miss the moster game again this year. I will be there and hope to drag many of my friends with me. When do they start taking reservations for camping? I've got a pop up sitting at my house just dying to be used.

synreal

not sure I'll have to get back to ya, unless anybody else knows off hand. It's sometime during the summer though.
If by THE beer you mean guinness then yes, if not well then that's something we'll have to discuss.

My friends and I plan on getting out to Hell Survivors big time this summer, and we all shoot mags... after I converted the last holdout from his VM-68. We're definitely going to all the big games there, and probably quite a few weekends for rec games.
This Friday though, we're heading out to Futureball indoor, since we haven't played there yet.

last time I was there it wasn't sandy, just really slippery. Made bunker slides easy though.

they threw down a bed of maybe 5-6" of playground sand a few months back, i still haven't figured out if its an improvement yet.

I called the day after last years monster game and got the last campsite at the field. I won't actually be camping, we just wanted it for parking. If someone wants it for camping just let me know.

wyn1370

I might be interested in taking that off your hands. How much is it?

acehardware

I don't want to sell it. We live about 3 hours away and drive over in the morning and park on the camp site. I figured if someone wants to camp they can. Just as long as I can use the parking permits during the days. Last year we did it like this: The guys who camped got there on Friday night and stayed the night, we showed up on Saturday morning and the other guys moved their cars so we could park. It worked out great for both groups. If you think you want to use it drop me an e-mail at acehardware@voyager.net

Dang, do you live in a hole??? jk

Hells has the best scenario schedule in MI this year IMO.

DrStockClass, I play with a Phantom or other Pump exclusively, no mag pump yet... :(

Wyn- Count me in for a space in the back of your truck for my gear... :)

I live in Plymouth near 275 and M-14, Hells is 10 minutes farther than Footerball, it's on the same road more or less. I've never played at FooterBall's indoor field.

Footerball's outdoor price is like 10-15$ for the whole day (both sessions) and it's BYOP. :)

I'm gonna try to make it to the April 20 day at Footerball.

I call it Footerball cause I don't like it that much, the owner is less than reputable, and the reffs can be real morons sometimes. I've had much better experience at Hells, especially since I play general class more than advanced, and they don't lump everyone together like at Footerball.

Hope to see a good turnout on the 20th!

Chaos in battle creek also has 6"+ of sand on their floor. It takes me a week every time we go to get it out of every crevice...of my gun that is.

Fred- I play with my phantom almost exclusively too. I hate to say it here but my mag is kinda my "other" gun. ;)
You're right, the devided classes are a good idea and usually work out well. General class is a good warm up, then its off to advanced with the big P.

me and a bunch of my buds are haveing a private game on april 20 at hell.

we still need a couple of guys to fill in one team if anyone wants to play ?

Dr.StockClass
03-20-2002, 10:47 AM
Oh man I want to say I could fill in but thats the weekend before finals week for me. I'll have my nose in books ALL weekend.

Fred

But it's not stopping me from playing for FREE at Futureball!

I hate Chaos, played there 1 time, it was a less than fun day. The Chaos Team or whatever their name is, played light up the walk ons. me, and my two buddies got lit up hardcore, so did the other three kids with rentals (we brought our own gear).

My VSC phantom wasn't quite the right choice to go up against sandridge cockers...
