i am milling a z-grip in my off time at work. i am wondering if anyone has any thaughts on a neet looking handle. this is actully being made. it will hold dye grips. i am trying to have a drop forward in the design. if you have time and want to draw, post a pick of what you think it should look like.

any thaughts other than "thats impossible" would be helpfull.

looks like the angle is certainly less extreme ?? :) but good luck and I can't wait to see the outcome.

the angle is less extream. its actuly the angle of the forty five except its backwards.

itl be a lot smoother when done. im just in the cutting process now.

hears some more picks.

Did you take into account for the finishing of it? Sanding and polishing will take away lots of material. Just looking at that trigger guard, looks kind of thin already.

magman, ya i thaught about it. if i run in to a prob ill cut that guard off and bend some aluminum strap and tig weld it on as a guard. then clean up the weld. i hope i dont have to thow.

thanks for the thaught. any others are much appriceated.

you need a cnc mill to crank that sucker out in like 2 min. that looks hard to do by hand.

I like it I was thinking it would be nice to see something like that for the emag

ive actuly got 3 mills and 8 or 9 metal laths to work with. only 2 of the laths are small enough for me to want to mess with. the others are for 1000 horse motors and stuff like that. thats not counting the band saws and plasma cutters i have access to.

the exact design is beind done as i get little bits of metal removed. so milling quick isnt in the cards. if this one works ill make one more with total mill usage just to have and see how fast it can be done. ive ben doing it with a upright band saw so it hasnt ben hard at all.

that frame looks really cool. good luck.
i have one question: What is the advantage of having the frame slant forward instead of backwards.
The z-frame looks really uncomfortable, but i've never held one.

that frame is more comfortable then a say for instance benchmark trigger or a like an intelli-frame because it slants like that it puts your hand in a more comfortable and natural position makeing it not uncomfortable.

could you mill the insides so you can easily make it an intelli-Z?
