Just wondering if there was a specific grouping.

i put 950 only cuz you didnt have anything higher....

i run mine at 1k though i may up it 1.1k or more to see how i like it.... though 1k seems to work for now

all the time i spent shooting my old carbine gave me really strong trigger fingers....

Wow - I would've put it over 950 if I had thought that anyone was using that high an input pressure. Sorry! Didn't anticipate that. That bad boy must be crisp! Thanks for the info, virus.

and crisp it is.... that input with the Zgrip and over the chrono got up to 11bps......

now if i could just work on conserving paint i would be allset.... that and i have to stop saying "oh your gonna try for that bunker.... ok just say when..... GO <instant wall-o-paint> =)

i got to stop doing that during rec play.... or get on a team in my area

when I was setting up my friends RT.. we were playing to find out what the ideal pressure was for us.. it was above 950psi. I like it in the 1000-1100 range.. he liked it just under a k. it's all about trigger control ;-)

Wow! I been running 700. Never have I tried that high. 1K huh? Hey! why not? I might just play around with that one time and see what you guys are talking aobut. Maybe not on the EMAG but on the RT Pro maybe. You guys are animals!! :D

It seems as though the 850's have it, but I bet that's just because alot of tanks are commonly preset to 850, and people don't regulate it again. So a great question to ask would be "are you happy with your trigger response when the pressure input is 850?" That's exactly what I'm dealing with... do I want to add another regulator? My current tank is 850 preset and wonder if it really warrants the extra cost and weight. But I thought that more people would be using settings on the UNDER side than over... that means I would have to change my tank, too, to be able to increase my input pressure.

I had mine set at 750 CONSTANTLY, as soon as I got it set, I never moved it one time. the reason....IMO it had AWESOME reactivity(could shoot easily 13 bps) and it never had drop off.

850 preset, trigger's nice & crisp, but not too reactive.

I just moved mine from 800 to 900 or a bit above. It is VERY reactive to say the least. (I handed it to Kim and had her try it too..... her comment was "Wow".) I have heard the consistency can drop at the higher pressures, but we will see… if so, back down she will go.

Got to love the fully adjustable Flatlines!!!!! :D

interesting so many people have it so high perhaps this is part of the problem with mags breaking paint. I had a preset at 800 and i had problems with chopping so i actually went through the trouble of taking the preset apart and adjusting it down to 700, had to lock it back together with a pci card screw. after that i had less problems with breaking paint. now I use an adjustable dynaflow or flatline 4500

That could be… but I shot my RTP all afternoon (as did my Wife) and not one chop… either of us. And that was at 800.

(Must note that we also shot the Kids’ Spyder too, and not a chop there either. ;))

No problems with breaking paint at 850 in. My consistency sucks, but I suspect other issues (Have same problem with it when running off max-flo)

Used to run a preset @ 850 psi. Now have an adjustable set at 1100 psi. :)

I used Carl's (smokee_2_7) Retro valve in both his (godly) Z-grip and his (also godly :)) automag with an eclipse kit. It was set around 1000, but because the regulator on his flatline needed servicing, it was around 900. All I can say is WOW!!! I love that feeling of that trigger bouncing back. I know most of you believe skill is more a part of the game than the gun ... but i found running that Retromag with nitro I got anywhere from 1-3 eliminations a game. Most of the time getting 1 or 2. With my spyder running on co2 I'm LUCKY to get 2. But that's a different story altogether :)

On his z-gripped mag ... I forgot to turn the revvy on and I chopped around 3 or 4 times (early in the game too). I don't think it had anything to do with the input pressure though, cause with the other mag I didn't chop any.

Ulitmator,

Glad ya liked it. . . im sure you cant wait till you have your own.

Yeah, so far im pretty happy with it around 900 or so. Mainly Since this Retro valve is brand new to me, i cant comment on consistency too much. However, from limited testing, paint always seems to go into the exactly same place--- so im happy.

I run mine at 600 in my Emag. It is very reactive in hybrid, but is like no kickback what-so-ever in manual. Oh well, I dont use manual anyways! Would I get better gas mileage off a higher pressure?
