I am buying the agd flatline but I am torn between the two sizes. I am shooting a retro mini and this will be my first N2 system. Any advantages of one over the other? I know there is a size and price difference but are there any other factors?

4500 can get more shots per fill. performance is the same. i'd get the 4500.

Simple. If you shoot less than 700 shots a game, get a 3000, because you can just refill every game. If you shoot from 700-980 shots a game, get a 4500. If you shoot more than 1000 'balls a game, or shoot a lot, and want to not have to refill every game, get a bigger tank and a 4500.

You don't really need a adjustable, presets work fine. So if you are gonna get a 3000 psi model anyway, I would get a Crossfire. You can get a preset that is a steel 68(ths steel makes it a little heavier, but gives it a smaller package) and has a super-high flowing reg for a good long string.

3000 cheap, less shots
4500 more $, more shots
those are the only differances

Wait... You are shooting a Retro mini, and this is your FIRST nitro system? I smell a problem. Have you been using co2 on your retro valve?

Also dont forget to consider if your field or store can fill 4500. No use in getting a pretty 4500 if it can only get filled to 3000. Its kewl knowing my store can fill up to 6000 if needed with their booster.

The most retarded thing I see alot of ppl do (atleast in my eyes) is buy a pretty 4500 system, and use it with a 80 ci scuba tank fill station. Why not get a 3000 and a scuba set up?

...The 3000 comes with a drop forward. The 4500 comes with the bevertail adapter and you still need a drop forward.

Go with the 4500. Nitro lines are often long at tournies and it sucks to fill between every game. Plus, with an RT, you'll lose your reactiveness under 800 psi or so, so it's generally a good idea to have more than enough nitro.
