This has come as a last minute decision, but i was asked to accompany a family member down to tennessee for the coming weekend, and being that I am completely addicted, I decided I would only make the 10 hour trip if there was a nice field to check out while i am down there. So far the closest place I could find that looked decent was nashville paintball sports. I know nothing of this field except what their homepage says. If someone could give me a heads up and a "lameness" factor rating on this field i'd greatly appreciate it. If there's any other suggestions for fields down there, please let me know. I will be in cookeville (hour east of nashville) and was hoping to find somewhere at least within an hour or two of where i'll be staying. You can reply here or PM me. Thanks in advance....

Hey! Well I am a Tennessee AOer! Ive never played at Nashville paintball sports, and havnt heard a lot about it. I usually play at Adventure Park Paintball in Chapel Hill(http://longshots.net click on the adventure park logo), its awesome. Has hyperball and two other sweet speedball fields, a concept field, and some woods fields. There is a tourney there on Saturday in which I will be playing. There is also Franklin Paintball Games(http://franklinpaintball.net) in Franklin which is cool, they have like 4 speedball fields and some woods fields. Ive heard good things about Red River Paintball in Clarksville,(http://redriverpaintball.com) and Wolf Hill Paintball(http://wolfhillpaintball.net) in Gallatin. Check out http://midsouthpaintball.com, they have a bunch of field listings so you may find one closer to you than these. Let me know where you plan on playing, maybe you will see me there. If I'm not gonna bet there someone from my team might(lie I said I have the tourney Staurday at Chapel Hill and most of my team will be there, but not all of them ;)).

ENDO!

I've played at Nashville Paintball Sports a few times. I love the speedball field and the house field, but aside from that, their woods fields just don't sit well with me for some reason...(esp. if it's wet at all I got stuck in a bunker there last weekend because it was wet and muddy and after jumping down in the little dug out area, I couldn't get back out...) As for the other fields, I haven't ever really played at them, though I've been to Hollow Buzzard and WolfHill. Not sure exactly what Wolf Hill's fields are like, but the guys that work there are great. Bought my RT Pro from them right before Christmas. Not to mention, Team Rave is from there and they're an all mag team. Let me know where you're going to play, and you might see me there. I'm wanting to go play this weekend--still working a few things out. Good luck with your decision, but there are PLENTY of fields around here to play on.

(btw-I'm right in the heart of Nashville at Vanderbilt University)

Thanx guys. I'll check those other ones out. Daos, any idea what kind of paint they run at nashville?

I have no idea the brand, but it is VERY brittle... Tried the bounce test everytime I've gone, and once it was something like 2.1, and another time it was like 2.9 (one was the budget paint, and the other was the premium). I remember it was somewhat cool both of those days, and rainy, so maybe on a pretty day it would be better. And it's field paint only... Here's the link to the field if you want to check it out.

There's a picture of the speed ball field on there somewhere...
