Mag: Not very many upgrades that are functional. Works best on N2.

Cocker: Works moderatley better than a mag on c02(the regulator!), Lots of upgrades both appearance wise, and functional.

Do some research. Listening to the hype throwers is not research. Learn about each gun. ie. How it's made, what parts do what, how maintainence works, how do you clean it, will it break, does it ever go down on the field.

Statements like cockers shoot further, faster or are more accurate is not a statement of fact, only someones opinion. Get the facts about each gun and apply them to what you want.

um..i would search.....but i would rather have people tell me first hand.Like the mag owners why i should buy mag,and cocker owners why i should buy cocker

And then you get everyones opinion and never any facts. You have to read, anything someone tells you probably won't be much good.

PS- If you're going to spend lots of money on something don't be lazy about researching it.

I was talking about doing a search on AO. Other than that hang out at your pro shops till the guys behind the counter let you play around with display models. Or find some people at your local field to let you try them out, but take their advice with a grain of salt. Only after you've personally experienced both should you decide.

You haven't actually done a search on AO yet have you? Its very easy and isn't painful. I promise. But this might help. http://www.pballcanada.com/automag.html

Cockers:
Pros:
Many upgrades
Lots to tweak with
The moving backblock is cool:p
Good resale value(IF you get vert feed 2k2)
Can Be set to pinch balls, so no chopping...

Cons:
Complicated
Need special tool to take out valve
Kinda Hard to time if you don't have experience
A hint more expensive than Stock mag

MAG:
Pros:
Short Snappy Trigger Pull
Good Cosomer Service
Simple Design
Light
Small

Cons:
Stiff Trigger pull
Only about 3 upgrades that are functional
Not much to tweak with
Chops paint if the ball is not in the chamber
Dosen't take 45 grips stock

Well IMO I would take the cocker but thats my preference...

for facts and not opinions, go to www.warpig.com. there are pros and cons for both mags and cockers. thats where i went before i got a mag. you have to go to the newby section and there are many pages which describe different guns. i ended up choosing mag because they are durable and fairly cheap and when i'm done playing for the day, i am tired and i don't wanna clean my stuff for more than an hour.
