Now i remember you were working on this, and then we never herd any thing about it. Then i happened to glance at my coppy of pgi with bob long on the cover. Is that the trapped door feed going into his timmy? did you put a trapped door feed on his timmy for his warp?

Yeah I have that issue too. That looks amazing and it's so compact. That would be a huge hit. But it looks like he had to take the vertical adpater off, so...

trap door is not dead its just on the back burner until we get this 2nd alum body finished. Once we have the Extreme and this supermag body finished we can go on to the trap door. Expect a modular version and a supermag bodied version.

any chance you'll do trap doors for other guns? Maybe another timi. Yeah I know I'm dreaming, but that would be sweet.

I know tom built bob one a while back. Can't say for sure if it's the one on the cover, but do a quick search and you'll find tom's post from way back.

i have been here a while and still cant figure out why trap door is so popular. so could you please explain to me why it is?

one reason. if you chop, and paint sprays out the feed, you turn off your warp, open the trap door, and squeegie it. no paint in any tubes or feed necks. not to mention you can see straight down the top of the body.

mmm..those are the first pics ive seen. Thats sweet Tom, if i was you i would have those bodies somehow sneak their way between the ACE and the new mag bodies

I may be complelely missing the mark on this, but I dreamt up an idea the other night that would close off the feed tube during firing to eliminate blowback and generate all the power forward into the barrel.

Anybody wander why nobody has used the EPIC's trap door design on other guns yet? I bet I'll have to explain it again too...
